Chris Drescher

Chief Operations Officer

Chris has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry and has been instrumental in the growth and value creation of several organizations in the Medical Device, Reagents and Drug Discovery services arenas.  Chris was most recently the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Nuclea Diagnostics and President of HealthBank, Inc., and has held management positions with Toucan Capital, the Millipore Corporation, Serologicals Corporation, Chemicon International and Oncor, Inc.

 

Chris has been integral in numerous corporate mergers and acquisitions and has extensive experience in post acquisition management, integration and growth of early and growth stage ventures and middle market companies.  He has proven experience with the FDA approval process with the successful validation and clearance of several cellular and molecular diagnostics and with implementation and certification of clinical diagnostic operations under CLIA.  

 

Chris possesses experience in portfolio management and early-stage venture funding focusing on life science investments.  

 

Chris holds degrees in Biology and Chemistry from William and Mary.
